When a fee for an advisory engagement can be refunded, and how to request it.
About this policy
This policy explains when a fee paid to LogicMesh Financial Planning Co., Ltd. for an advisory consultation or planning engagement can be refunded. It applies to the engagements listed on the engagements menu.
The timeframes below are standard market-consistent terms, confirmed in writing when you book, and are pending final business confirmation.
Before work has started
If you cancel an engagement before any consultation has taken place, you can receive a full refund if you tell us at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. If you tell us less than 24 hours before, the session fee is non-refundable, because the time was reserved for you.
After a consultation has taken place
The discovery consultation fee is non-refundable once the consultation has taken place, because the service has been delivered.
For the budget reset session and the comprehensive financial plan, the consultation portion of the fee is non-refundable once the consultation has taken place. The written-plan portion is refundable on a pro-rata basis if you cancel before the written plan has been started, and non-refundable once work on the written plan has begun.
Rescheduling
You can reschedule a consultation at no cost by telling us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time, subject to availability. Rescheduling less than 24 hours before is treated as a cancellation under the terms above.
No-shows
If you do not attend a scheduled consultation and have not told us in advance, the session fee is non-refundable.
Deposits
Where a deposit is taken to secure an engagement, the deposit is refundable under the same conditions as the engagement fee above — fully refundable up to 24 hours before the session, and non-refundable after that point or once the consultation has taken place.
Refund method and processing time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within 14 business days of approval.

Exceptions
We may consider a refund outside the terms above in cases of serious illness or family emergency, on request. Each case is decided individually and in good faith.
